Information about the Overflight to the Nazca Lines

These mysterious lines made in this desert have dimensions ranging from a few meters to hundreds, apparently starting from nowhere, leading to nowhere else.
The Nazcas undoubtedly took advantage of the special meteorological and geological conditions of this place. The almost total absence of rain (half an hour every 2 years) combined with the wind and the mineral‑rich soil formed an extremely thin dark crust, which when removed contrasts with the light colour of the subsoil. In this way the broad lines and figures appear as light strokes on a dark background that can only be seen from great height.

The only way to see them is from the sky, so you should not miss this experience in a light aircraft that will take you to observe figures such as The Spider, The Monkey, The Dog, Lizard, Hummingbird, The Condor, among others in large dimensions ranging from 15 to 300 m. Each one with a depth of approximately 30 centimetres.
