Colca Canyon Full Day Tour Itinerary
- 03:00 AM pick up of the passengers in the different hotels, to start the trip through Yura. The trip will be made directly to the Condor’s Cross, stopping only for breakfast.
- 08:00 approximately, we will arrive at the Cruz del Condor, from where we will be able to appreciate one of the deepest canyons in the world and where the condor sanctuary is located. On the way back we will stop in the villages of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque that have beautiful colonial churches; as well as in the viewpoints of Antahuilque and Choquetico from where we can observe the pre-Inca tombs and models and the beautiful landscape of the Colca with its impressive terraces.
- 11:30 approximately we will go to the thermal baths of Chacapi.
- 12:30 Lunch in Chivay and return to Arequipa.
- 13:30 approx. On the way back we will stop at the viewpoint of the volcanoes (highest point 4,910masl), in the Bofedales de Tocra where we can appreciate the diversity of wild birds, herds of alpacas and llamas; in Pampa Cañahuas we will observe herds of vicuñas (part of the National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas) the beautiful South American camelid possessor of one of the finest fibers in the world.
- 17:00 approx. Arrival to Arequipa.
