Salinas and Aguada Blanca Itinerary

• Pick‑up at the agreed point at 6:00 a.m.
• We will head southeast of the city. Our first stop will be to admire a unique and little‑known perspective of Arequipa’s guardian volcanoes together with the pre‑Inca stone‑working site of Chiguata on its slopes.
• We will continue to the town of Chiguata, where we will stop to visit the Church of the Holy Spirit and enjoy a local breakfast.
• We will make a stop at the entrance of the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve. Here we can appreciate the local flora, such as the Yareta, used as a fuel source in ancient times, and the Tola, common in the high and desert areas of the southern continent.
• We will arrive at the majestic Salinas Lagoon. We will have time to capture the famous photographs reflected in its waters and to spot the local wildlife, such as llamas, vicuñas or regional flamingos.
• We will continue our tour through the town of Salinas until we reach the Lojen Mini Volcano, where we can relax in its rustic hot springs.
• We will return to the town of Chiguata for lunch. We estimate arriving in Arequipa around 4:30 p.m.
