Itinerary of the Chullpas of Sillustani Tour in Puno
This tour starts at 1:45 p.m. We will transport you from your hotel in our vehicle to the Sillustani Archaeological Site, the largest pre‑Inca and Inca cemetery, located 30 minutes from Puno. Built in the 13th century by a pre‑Inca civilization, the Kollas, before Inca domination. During the journey, the guide will provide you with information about the area and its history. Upon arrival at Sillustani, a guided walk of approximately one hour will begin, with stops to explain how the Kollas and Incas built the imposing funerary towers and the history of the place. Upon reaching the top, with views of the beautiful Umayo Lagoon, you will enjoy free time to take photos, stroll or meditate in this magical and energetic place. Then, we will return to the parking area to board the vehicle and go back to Puno. The tour generally ends at 5:30 p.m.
