Full Day Tour Itinerary Colca Canyon
- 03:00 AM pick‑up of passengers at the different hotels, to start the trip through Yura. The trip will go directly to the Condor Cross, stopping only to have breakfast.
- Approximately 08:00, we will arrive at the Condor Cross, from where we can admire one of the deepest canyons in the world and where the condor sanctuary is located. On the way back we will stop in the towns of Pinchollo, Maca y Yanque which have beautiful colonial churches; as well as at the Viewpoints of Antahuilque and Choquetico from where we can observe the pre‑Inca tombs and models and the beautiful landscape of the Colca with its impressive terraces.
- Approximately 11:30 we will head to the thermal baths of Chacapi.
- 12:30 Lunch in Chivay and return to Arequipa
- Approximately 13:30 On the way back we will stop at the volcano viewpoint (highest point 4,910 m a.s.l.), in the Tocra Bofedales where the diversity of wild birds, herds of alpacas and llamas is observed; in the Cañahuas plain we will see vicuña herds (part of the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve) the beautiful South American camelid possessing one of the finest fibers in the world.
